Homeschool Students
°®¶¹app is a Homeschool friendly campus. We understand that Homeschool students and families value intentionality in their educational journeys, and we are here to support the college search process however we can. The resources available below are designed to make clear what the experience at °®¶¹app will entail, even before stepping foot on campus or enrolling in classes.
Resources for Homeschool Students
Our traditional undergraduate application can be found at www.calbaptist.edu/apply. If you are an independent homeschool, then you can email transcripts directly to your admissions@calbaptist.edu. For those who are a part of a PSP, Charter or other form of school, we would need them sent directly from the school to the same email address.
°®¶¹app has a robust Pre-college Credit program that allows students to get a head start on their college journeys. All credits are WASC accredited taught by a °®¶¹app faculty member. The first class is free!
The °®¶¹app Honors Program exists to pursue wisdom and virtue in community. The goal of this pursuit is to foster and mold thinkers, leaders, and citizens, who will go into the world as agents of healing, who demonstrate the character of Christ, and act to influence, and promote, human and societal flourishing.
Have you already completed college courses or taken additional tests? We have resources in place to help determine how those courses and tests would impact your time at °®¶¹app.
We love hosting students and families here at °®¶¹app. We have a beautiful 162-acre campus that we are excited to share with you during your time here. There are many different ways to visit our campus and our visit team can help curate your day at °®¶¹app to help you make a decision, from attending a Chapel to visiting with a professor.
Being away from family for the first time can be challenging. At °®¶¹app, we make it easy to get connected!
Students who are homeschooled must complete the or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) and turn in the to CSAC by the March 2 Cal Grant deadline. The FAFSA opens on December 1, which gives the student plenty of time to have it submitted by the deadline. The process for submitting the GPA Verification Form can vary depending on your homeschool structure:
- For students who have a base or charter school: Check in with your school to see if they send in the GPA Verification Form automatically. If not, bring the to them to complete and send it to CSAC at the address listed on the form.
- For students that do not have a base or charter school, you will need to submit the GPA Verification Form with your parent, but you will be submitting test scores instead of a GPA. You can submit scores from the ACT, SAT, GED, TASC or HiSET. Please read the carefully for directions on how to complete and submit it.
