Kendra Flores-Carter is a co-PI on a multisite study designed to examine associations between depression, self-rated health and self-efficacy of disease management in prenatal women with diabetes (Type 1, Type 2 and Gestational). She previously trained and supervised graduate and medical students assisting with data collection. Since joining °®¶¹app's College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, her role has been to provide clinical expertise on factors that might contribute to depression in prenatal women with diabetes. As a core member of the team, she attends monthly conference calls regarding data collection. In the near future, she will contribute to reports, presentations, and publications.
